Which is better XMAX 300 vs Honda Forza on Samui?

I booked the XMAX 300 for half a week and a Honda Forza 350 for the other half, running the same ring road circuit, and the differences were smaller than the spec sheets suggest and more useful. Loaded with two helmets, a dry bag and a camera bag, the XMAX swallowed everything under the seat flat while the Forza forced the camera bag into its front cubby - the 39 against 28 litres reorganises what packs without a top box. On the Fisherman's Village-Choeng Mon concrete joins at 65 km/h the XMAX's two-up suspension stayed smooth where the Forza felt firmer. The Forza's screen adjusts higher, a real edge above 180 cm but a wash for the 165 to 180 cm majority, and its ABS pulses more aggressively - 19 metres to the XMAX's 20 from 70 km/h wet. Choose the XMAX for storage and two-up suspension, the Forza for windscreen and brake feel - for most touring couples with luggage over 70 km, the XMAX.
