Which is better PCX 150 or NMAX 155? Final verdict

I rode the full ring road on the PCX 150 and the NMAX 155 on back-to-back days, same rider and route: the NMAX averaged 71 km/h to the PCX's 68 and held 65 km/h two-up on the climbs where the PCX settled to 58, its 15.4 horsepower outpulling the PCX's 13.0 by 18 per cent above 80 km/h. But end-of-day the PCX left me less fatigued - wider seat, softer suspension, upright bars easing the wrists. A German couple switched off the NMAX mid-week when the pillion's back complained about its firmer rear seat; the PCX's factory two-up calibration fixed it. Storage favours the PCX at 28 litres against 22, plus its smart key, while both have ABS and sit within 50 baht a day. Choose the NMAX for speeds over 75 km/h, gradients or solo distance; choose the PCX for two-up touring, multi-day comfort and smoothness. The NMAX performs better, the PCX feels better.
