Where to ride Honda Click 125 around Samui on budget?
I mapped the Click 125's home ground early one February morning: the 12 km Chaweng coastal loop from the south beach to Bo Phut Fisherman's Village, mostly under 50 km/h with no real climb until the Choeng Mon headland, done on 0.28 litres. The Chaweng-to-Lamai temple circuit via Wat Khunaram is 28 km and under two hours including a temple stop, the ring road well within the bike's comfort. The flat 22 km west-coast road to Nathon market holds 65 km/h easily, dipping to 55 on the single rubber-plantation rise, with covered parking and a downhill return. The Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village combination runs 19 km with one moderate hill. Its honest boundary is the mountain road above Nathon, where I turn around at the first viewpoint. All four routes stay under 35 km, dodge the steepest grades and return the same day with no fuel planning - a daily convenience machine, not a tourer.
