What features make Honda PCX 150 premium on Samui?

The rental staff on Chaweng beach road handed me the PCX 150's smart key - a fob you keep in your pocket, ignition by button - and over three days the relief of not digging for a metal key while juggling sunscreen, water and a helmet was real. The ABS version most shops stock intervened briefly and cleanly on wet paint outside Big C at 40 km/h, removing the wheel-lock risk Samui's painted junctions create in the wet. I measured the seat at 310 mm wide against the Scoopy's 265, and the pillion footrest sits 30 mm lower, turning a bent knee nearly level so 60 km two-up feels like 20. The dual USB port added 35 per cent to my phone on the 22 km run to Lamai, and the LED projector lit unlit beach lanes 40 metres ahead where a Scoopy's halogen dimmed. Each feature fixes a daily friction the Scoopy leaves open - together they justify the premium on merit.
