How Yamaha XMAX 300 handles island highway at speed?

On the 14 km Nathon-Bangrak straight I held the XMAX 300 at 90 km/h the whole way without lifting: engine calm, handlebars still, the CVT settled into top ratio inside the first kilometre - at 90 it is cruising, not working, which changes how a two-hour ring-road day costs you. When a delivery moto stopped across two lanes south of Central Festival, its dual-channel ABS caught both wheels from 80 km/h and stopped me straight inside 22 metres, the rear stability the real upgrade over the NMAX's single-channel front. On the west coast at 85 km/h the taller screen deflects the Gulf headwind above helmet level, saving upper-body effort over 40 km. Tight mountain bends need earlier braking and a wider line, a technique motorbike riders find natural. It returns 31 to 33 km/l for a 370 to 395 km range, trading 10 per cent efficiency for 60 per cent more range than the NMAX. Above 80 km/h it is the fleet's most composed scooter, and earns its premium there.
